I liked this movie and will give it a thumbs up. Why? Give me a friggin’ minute and I’ll tell you.
This is another film directed by Robert Eggers, who also directed The Witch, The Lighthouse and other films. Some people do not like his work because he can sometimes be ‘artsy’ fartsy.
He truly looks at film as art. So, this movie may not be for everyone. I personally like Eggers’ style of directing and writing.
What I really like about this film is the locations chosen to make this movie. The locations give it a realistic feel.
