The Substance

I like this movie and give it a thumbs up. Why do I like it? Give me a friggin’ minute and I’ll tell you.

There is a lot of controversy about this film and the supposed message that it sends. There seems to be a split between viewers. Yes, a good amount of audiences did not like this movie. However, a good amount of audiences did like it.

I may be a little biased because I am a big fan of Demi Moore. I strongly feel that her performance in this unusual movie was stellar.

I don’t want to give out much information and spoil the movie for you. But I want to say that this movie goes crazy in the last 30 minutes and some viewers found it to be disturbing and unnecessary. They felt it was just dragging out the movie.

I personally found the ending to be funny and entertaining. I have a good sense of humor and an open mind. I would prefer this ending instead of watching the ending of a boring movie.
